| Event Information | The standard advertisement port is 6101. Set the registry key AdvertisementPort under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\Backup Exec\Agent Browser\TcpIp to 6101. If this does not alleviate the issue, perform any of the following: 1. Attempt to stop and restart all of the Backup Exec (tm) services 2. Reboot the Backup Exec system 3. Ensure the latest operating system Service Pack and Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) versions have been installed 4. Ensure the latest Backup Exec patches and service packs have been installed. |
