| Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when access to the namespace was denied because the namespace is marked with RequiresEncryption but the script or application attempted to connect to this namespace with an authentication level below Pkt_Privacy. Resolution : Change the authentication level used by the WMI client. Change the authentication level used by the WMI client to Pkt_Privacy and restart the script or application. Verify : Be aware that the WMI service and the WMI repository are running properly. However, client scripts and programs accessing namespaces marked with "RequiresEncryption" must connect with an authentication level that is set to packet privacy. |
