Event Information | The trial version includes a single license valid for antispam and antivirus. The production version uses separate licenses for antispam and antivirus. If you only purchased the antispam license you need to purchase the antivirus license to enable this feature. Contact your Sales representative or Symantec Customer service to purchase the missing license. If you do not want to purchase the antivirus license you will need to disable the scanner. To disable the antivirus scanner: 1. Log on to the Brightmail Control Center. 2. Click the Settings panel tab. 3. In the links bar on the left side of the window under the AntiVirus heading click the Settings link. 4. In the AntiVirus Settings box, uncheck Scan messages for viruses. 5. Click Save. |
