Event Information | According to Microsoft: Meaning: The synchronization service could not connect to the target server. Effect: If this is a cluster member, synchronization for these objects will not continue on this member until this problem is fixed. The rest of the cluster is not affected by this problem. If this is the cluster controller, no synchronization for these objects will happen on the cluster until this problem is fixed. Possible Causes and Solutions: Remote sever not available: The server is off, has been disconnected from the network, or has been renamed. Disbanding the cluster: The cluster was manually disbanded during the synchronization session. Network failure: A network failure ended the connection between the controller and the cluster member. Hardware failure: A hardware failure has occurred, such as a disk or network adapter failure. |
