| Event Information | According to IBM: CAUSE: When the WIN NT object server is started, a message is posted in the event viewer application log with an""error icon"" associated with it. The message posted in the Application Event Viewer corresponds to a vague message in the frndaig.log, just before the accepting requests message is posted for the object sever in the frndiag.log file. Thisimplies an error occurred while the object server was started. RESOLUTION: 1) we should be posting a information msg in the application event viewer, similar to db2, such as the object server is accepting requests.2) we should be posting a message with a informational icon because ms defines the error icon to be associated with an event that resulted in loss of data or a loss of function. |
