| Event Information | "According To Microsoft:" Explanation: The BITS Cleanup tool runs on each virtual directory and removes all of the incomplete uploaded files of jobs that have timed out. This message is logged to inform you that a job could not be deleted from a virtual directory. Deletion of a job can be initiated by the client that submitted the job or by the BITS Cleanup tool. If the job deletion was initiated by the tool, all the other jobs in this virtual directory were cleaned up successfully except for the jobs specified in the message. User Action: Run the BITS Cleanup tool on this virtual directory again. Then, check the BITS-Sessions\Requests\{Job ID} and BITS-Sessions\Replies\{Job ID} directories in the virtual directory specified in the message. If these directories still exist, manually delete them. The Job ID is the ID of the job specified in the message. |
