To try, click Start, then Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs. Scroll down and locate Windows XP Hotfix (SP1) [See Q316397 for more information], click it, then choose Change/Remove and uninstall." 2) In several newsgroups many people have lost connection to messenger in windows XP. Here is the solution i found after having lost my messenger XP: Run gpedit.msc from start menu. In this group-policies program you can set the missing parameters for messenger XP. It worked fine for me after a virus-cleaning." |
