| Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: The information store dismounts to prevent the checkpoint file from becoming too far ahead of the transaction logs. This behavior can also be used to determine if there are unresolved issues with your backup. RESOLUTION: To mount stores that are affected by this behavior, first determine the checkpoint value from the Exx.log file for the storage group that is affected. To determine the checkpoint value, use the Eseutil utility. After you have determined the checkpoint value, move the committed logs to a backup folder. Move the Edb.chk file from the log file folder, and then mount the stores. Exchange now plays through the remaining uncommitted logs and permits the store to mount. |
