Description | The document failed to print because of a Graphical Device Interface (GDI) error or a driver error in rendering the print job. Try printing the document again. |
Event Information | According to Microsoft: Resolution: To resolve this error, try printing the document again. If printing fails and logs the same error message, try printing from another computer:If printing succeeds on the other computer: 1• Check the driver used on both computers. To do so, right-click the appropriate printer, click Properties, click the Advanced tab, and then make a note of the driver listed in the Driver box. 2• If multiple compatible drivers are listed for the affected printer in the Driver box, select a different version. Otherwise, obtain an updated printer driver from the printer vendor for the specific model of printer, and install it on the client computer. 3• Try printing again. 4• If printing fails on the other computer: 5• Try printing from the print server. 6• Obtain an updated printer driver from the printer vendor for the specific model of printer, and install it on the print server and client computers. 7• Try printing again. |
