Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when failed to initialize the needed name objects. Resolution : Check the MSDTC registry keys An error condition may have resulted from a problem with a registry key for the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator service (MSDTC). Check the MSDTC registry keys to ensure that they are consistent with expected information. If you make a change to a registry key, restart MSDTC. To perform these procedures, you must have membership in Administrators , or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. To open Registry Editor on the server and check the MSDTC registry keys: Caution : Incorrectly editing the registry might severely damage your system. Before making changes to the registry, you should back up any valued data.
