| Event Information | According to Microsoft : Explanation: This event record indicates that one of the replication subkeys in the WINS registry subkey could not be created or opened. This parameter can be set by editing the registry. The WINS configuration is stored in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WINS subkey. User Action: To check and correct WINS registry settings: 1) Open Administrative Tools, and then open WINS. 2) On the server in question, expand the server information. 3) Right click on Registration Partners and click Properties. 4) Verify that the settings are correct. 5) Make any necessary corrections. |
