| Event Information | This NT error shown by the Event Viewer can mean the FaxManager was not installed. Check the NT Services in the NT control panel to see if the FaxManager is there, started and set to automatic. If it is not there, then follow the DFS instructions to properly register the device in the DFS Administration database. The error will also occur if there is a conflict with another service that controls the FAX Device. In one reported case, when running the install and checkout software for the Gammalink Fax Card there were 2 services that are enabled in the Services icon of the NT Control Panel: GammaFax and Dialogic Service. Disabling these services and restarting the Fax Server resolved the problem. |
