| Event Information | Check the TCP/IP Protocol properties on the Protocols tab of the Network application in Control Panel. If TCP/IP is installed, be sure that it is bound to the correct adapter(s). (For more information, see the Windows NT Server documentation.) Stop any other services connected to the port configured for incoming connections, or change the port on the SMTP Site tab of the Default SMTP Site Properties dialog box in Internet Service Manager. Click on the Advanced button to use the Advanced Multiple SMTP Site Configuration dialog box to specify the TCP port for each IP address used by the mail site. The computer running the SMTP service may need to be restarted. |
