DescriptionWindows(R) failed a request to load the Network File System (NFS) driver. Server for NFS cannot start. Windows may be low on system resources. Try increasing available system resources by closing programs, then start Server for NFS manually.

Cause :

This event is logged when Windows(R) failed a request to load the Network File System (NFS) driver.

Resolution :

Restart Server for NFS

To restart Server for NFS:
  1. Open an elevated Command Prompt window. Click Start , point to All Programs , click Accessories , right-click Command Prompt , and then click Run as administrator .
  2. Type net start nfssvc .
Verify :

To verify Server for NFS startup status:
  1. Open an elevated Command Prompt window. Click Start , point to All Programs , click Accessories , right-click Command Prompt , and then click Run as administrator .
  2. Type net start .
  3. Verify that Server for NFS appears in the list of results.
