The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: kErrorCDRServerDown - Error connecting to CDR Database. ODBC Error: Error executing "insert into CallDetailRecord (cdrRecordType,globalCallID_callManagerId,globalCallID_callId,origLegCallIdentifier App ID: Cisco CDR Insert Cluster ID: CM-PUB-Cluster Node ID: 10.1.32.10 Explanation: CDR database server is not responding. CDRs cannot be written. Recommended Action: Either bring server back online or reconfigure CDRs to be written to a different server..

The solution to this problem is explained in detail below.
To solve this problem, you must edit the trigger to point to the current name of the database. This is done using a text editor, as shown in these steps:

This process is to be done on the publisher

1. The trigger is found on the publisher under Start > Programs > Microsoft SQL Server > Enterprise Manager. Expand Microsoft SQL Servers, expand SQL Server Group, expand Local (machine name), and expand Databases.
2. Select and expand the CDR database, and select Tables. Then right click on the entry on the right window called CallDetailRecord, and select All Tasks > Manage Triggers. If there is more than one trigger, a pull-down bar allows you to select the triggers by name. This image shows an example of this process:Copy and paste the contents into a text editor (such as Notepad).
3. Replace all instances of the previous name of the database with the new. In this example it is CCM0300 with CCM0301.
4. Copy the text back to the trigger and click Check Syntax, then click OK.
