| Event Information | According to Altiris: Cause: The DS services require the SQL service to be started before they do, but they unfortunately do not have any dependencies set to require this. Resolution: The following command lines will add dependencies to SQL for the DS services: sc config “Altiris Deployment Server Data Manager” depend= “MSSQLSERVER” sc config “Altiris Deployment Server DB Management” depend= “MSSQLSERVER” sc config “Altiris eXpress Server” depend= “Altiris Deployment Server DB Management” * Verify the Deployment Server is at the current build (6.8.206 as of 11/20/06) and AUP has not expired ( Help/About in the DS console) Download from Altiris.com/download> Deployment Server for clients 6.8. |
