| Event Information | CAUSE: The error messages appear when running CHFARM, even with Hotfix XE102W028 installed, or DSMAINT CONFIG on a MetaFrame XP Feature Release 2 server using a SQL 2000 Service Pack 3 database configured for Windows authentication. Running the same commands, in the same environment, using a SQL account is successful. RESOLUTION: When running CHFARM, ensure that the screen after creating the ODBC connection, ODBC Driver Access, that asks for a username, password, and to reenter password contains a user name with a syntax of DomainName\UserName. When running DSMAINT CONFIG, ensure that the source and destination user name has a syntax of DomainName\UserName. |
