| Event Information | CAUSE: This event indicates that a message could not be scanned for viruses. This can occur if the following conditions are true: 1. An antivirus program that uses the Virus Scanning Application Program Interface (VSAPI) is running on the Exchange server. 2. The VSAPI-based antivirus program is configured to use transport scanning. 3. The message that could not be scanned is digitally signed. RESOLUTION: To resolve this error, try one or both of the following: If you are running VSAPI-based virus scanning software, contact the manufacturer to see if any updates are available.
