Event Source | Backup Exec Catalog |
Description | Catalog index file was corrupt and could not be repaired. Corrupt catalog file has been saved as CorruptBetopcat.idx. A new catalog index will be created. This process may take several minutes or longer for large catalog sets. |
Event Information | When a Backup Exec server is restarted or if Backup Exec services are stopped and then restarted, it performs a self-verification of the catalogs index file in Backup Exec 8.6 or later. If Backup Exec discovers a corrupt catalog index file, it will recreate a new index file named betopcat.idx, and rename the old one to CorruptBetopcat.idx to resolve the issue. |
