Description | %1' could not set the processor affinity for the worker process: %3 (Virtual machine %2) |
Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when could not set the processor affinity for the worker process. Resolution : Try different NUMA node If the NUMA ratio of your physical computer is nearly 1, then you do not need to worry as the performance of the virtual machine will not be affected much. However, if the NUMA ratio of your physical computer is not good, the virtual machine's performance will probably suffer. You might want to turn off the virtual machine and try setting the NUMA affinity to a different NUMA node as the current NUMA node probably already has running virtual machines assigned to it, to the point that there is not enough resources to accommodate this virtual machine. Verify : The virtual machine is able to start successfully. |
