| Event Information | CAUSE: General failure when logging on to Exchange Store. For each mailbox store and public folder store, there is a corresponding object under the container: CN=Connections,CN=organization name,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=domain name,DC=com The distinguished name of the object is displayed in the property homeMDBBL of the store. If this object is missing, or the necessary permissions are not correct, then you will get this event. RESOLUTION: Review the source event in the event log for detailed information. The error code and distinguished name (DN) may help you determine the best resolution. If the object is missing, then the easiest resolution is to run Exchange setup with the /reinstall option. If the permissions are incorrect, you may be able to fix the issue by running Exchange setup with the /domainprep option, assuming that "inheritable permissions" was not unchecked. |
