| Event Information | CAUSE: The RESTORE operation failed because it could not read some portion of the backup file specified in the FROM clause. This error generally indicates that the file specified is a pre-SQL Server 7.0 backup or that the file is damaged. RESOLUTION: Verify that the file specified in the RESTORE operation is a valid SQL Server 7.0 or later backup. Verify that the backup file is not damaged or incomplete. |
