Event Information | According to Microsoft : Explanation : This event indicates that the Logical Disk Manager service detected an internal error while performing one of several tasks. Cause : Possible causes include: 1)An internal service error generated while creating or deleting a partition. 2)An internal service error generated while converting a basic disk to a dynamic disk. 3)An internal service error generated while creating, breaking, or removing a mirror. User Action: Do the following: Restart the computer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This information from some newsgroups may help you: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If its purchased, check the manufacturer for an update. Try increasing the maximum paging file size and see if the uptime increases. (Right click My Computer, Properties, Advanced tab, Performance Options, Change button. Turn the maximum up to 1500MB or so just as a test. You may also want to switch the setting for Optimize Performance to Background Services and see if that helps but its almost certainly a memory leak. Load up Performance Monitor (From Start/Run) and add a counter for Performance Object Memory, select Available MBytes, then click Add, then Close. Over the course of the day, the memory available should fluctuate according to system load, but should stay relatively constant. |
