DescriptionIPRIPv2 could not bind to IP address: %1. Make sure TCP/IP is installed and configured correctly. The data is the error code.
Event Information According to Microsoft :
Cause :
This event is logged when IPRIPv2 could not bind to Ip address.
Resoluiton :
Check TCP/IP settings, add a route to Routing Table Manager, or check memory
Possible resolutions:
1. Check whether there are any communication problems due to incorrect TCP/IP settings. Use ipconfig command in a command prompt (with administrator credentials) to view the TCP/IP configuration information. If TCP/IP configuration information is correct, then use the netstat -a command to show the status of all activity on TCP and UDP ports on the local computer.
2.Use the netsh routing ip add rtmroute command to add a route to the Routing Table Manager (RTM).
3. This computer might be low on memory.
Check memory usage on the server
To check memory usage on the remote access server:
1. On the remote access server, click Start , click Run , type taskmgr , and then click OK .
2. In the Windows Task Manager dialog box, click the Performance tab.
3. Under Physical Memory , check the remote access server's memory usage.
4. If necessary, free up available memory by ending non-essential applications or processes.
Verify :
To perform this procedure, you must have membership in Administrators , or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority.
To verify that the Routing Table Manager (RTM) route has been added:
a) Stop and restart the Routing and Remote Access service.
1. Click Start , click Run , type rrasmgmt.msc , and then press ENTER.
2. Open Routing and Remote Access.
3. In the console tree, click Server Status .
4. In the details pane, right-click a server name, point to All Tasks , and click Restart .
b)View the routing table. In the Routing and Remote Access snap-in, expand IPv4 or IPv6, right-click Static Routes, and then click Show IP Routing Table.
c)Verify that the route has been added.
