Description | The FileSystemWatcher event provider failed to rename the event file. |
Event Information | According to Microsoft: Explanation: The file system watcher event provider renames processed XML files in the file system watcher directory specified in the ADF. If this file has been successfully processed for events, it is renamed to include the current date and time, and to have a .done extension. If this operation has failed, the file is renamed to include the current date and time and to have an .err extension. This error occurs if renaming the file fails. Generally, renaming fails because another application has the file opened exclusively at the same time. This error does not indicate whether events from the XML file were successfully submitted or not. A different error is logged when event submission fails. The event log entry contains further information on the actual error that caused the rename to fail. User Action: Failure to rename processed files is not critical, but it is a good idea for you to determine whether another application can potentially lock out the event provider from the file system watcher directory. |
