Event Information | According to Microsoft: Additionally, the log file for the SMS_SITE_CONTROL_MANAGER component, driveletter:\Sms\Logs\Sitectrl.log, contains messages that are similar to the following. CAUSE This problem occurs when the following conditions are true: • Your SMS 2003 site hierarchy includes at least one primary site and at least one secondary site. • A secondary site has sent a delta site control file (*.Ct1) to a primary site. • The delta site control file that was sent to the primary site server has a version number that is older than the current version number on the primary site server . MORE INFORMATION When SMS 2003 components generate status messages, the components typically create corresponding log file entries. We recommend that you always compare status messages with log file entries when you are troubleshooting SMS 2003 events. Log messages may contain additional information that can help identify and resolve an issue. |
