| Event Information | According to Compaq: Any Windows NT 3.51 or 4.0 Server running Compaq Insight Management Agents for Microsoft Windows NT, Version 4.10 or earlier, with at least one NetFlex-3 Controller configured for Ethernet and any Netelligent 100 FDDI PCI SAS Controller installed displays the following error message in the Event Log if the Ethernet Media Access Control (MAC) driver is removed from the server and the server is restarted. The error only occurs when the Ethernet MAC driver is removed from the Network Control Panel Applet. All other topologies (such as FDDI and Token Ring) can be removed without the error occurring.
