Event Information | When you try to create a new mirror volume or add a mirror to an existing volume
on a dynamic disk, you may receive the following error message: Logical Disk Manage Operation aborted due to disk I/O error. Disk Management now displays a yellow exclamation mark on the disk that contained the I/O error. If you right-click the drive and then click <strong>Reactivate</strong>, this clears the error. At the same time you will see this error message in the system eventlog. For more information about this event click on the link to Microsoft article given below. Another cause reported which will lead to this problem was, if you break the mirroring configuration and use those disks for some other purpose, this error will be occurred randomly in event log. |
