Description | Citrix Resource Manager failed to log an administrator action to the log file. Resource Manager will further attempt this operation five times before disabling administrator logging until Resource Manager is restarted. This problem is likely to be a permission or file system problem. Event Information | Cause: %SystemDrive\Program Files\Citrix\Citrix Resource Manager\ServerLogs does not contain a MonitorChangesLog.0 or MonitorChangesLog.1 or these files cannot be written to. Reproduction Steps: This event log entry can be reproduced by simply removing the “inheritable permissions” from these files and then using the Citrix Management Console to “Update Now” the Resource Manager Summary Database. Viewing the Server Log will show Error: Could not read the oldest server log file. Resolution: Resolve the conflict with respect to the MonitorChangeLog file(s). |
