Event Information | This message from newsgroup may help you: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It sounds like the OS is not able to get the proper response for all its data access in the logical drive(S). The reson could be one of this 1. The driver for the raid controller for the OS you having is not current 2. The firmware on the array controller is not current 3. The firmware on the Hard drives might no be current 4. The driver and firmware for the scsi adapter, where the tape device is hooked in to, is not Current Best be will be to to update all this things and see if that clears the issue away before you suspect a physical hardware error NOTE: When you update firmware(ofline option only) and driver, make sure you update the drivers first because you update a firmware on a controller (The reason why is, if you update the firmware before driver is updated when you reboot the server after firmware update with still an old driver, the driver might not understand/smoothly communicate with the controller which might prevent the server to boot to the OS) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------. |
