| Event Information | According to News Group: Cause : I would make sure that no other software is interferring with the normal operation of EdgeSight. Its DB file is always open and written to so it is important to put an exception on any other applications that may interfer with this. These include: 1.Anti virus software. 2.It could be other types of software such as disk defragementation software. These would also require an exception like those explained in the KB document above. 3.Make sure that the disk is not full or near full. 4.Make sure that you are running the latest agent which is 4.2 sp1. 5.There are valid reasons it could become corrupt, although these may be very rare. For example, a system crashes or hard reset, a bad spot on disk or a failing disk, or someone may have killed the edgesight process. |
