| Event Information | "This information from some newsgroups may help you: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For these type of alerts that actually include a valid Domain/Workgoup name, this is usually an indication of the server being rebuilt/renamed, or changing the Domain/Workgroup of the server before the old name is deleted from the MOM 2005 admin console. To address this, delete the old servername from the MoM 2005 admin, uninstall MOM 2005 agent on the server generating this alert, reinstall the agent. Try to stop the MOM service on the server generating the errors, delete the MOM cache from the server (located at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Microsoft Operations Manager\<MOM Management Group>) Delete the server from MOM 2005 (refer to the documentation). Start the MOM service on the server." |
