| Event Information | Following information from a newsgroup post may help: "Installed and setup simply means installing MSMQ on the Win2K AD/DC. No further configuration is necessary on that machine. To install an MSMQ 3.0 (XP) independent client against this server requires no special configuration options. In fact since now in 3.0 the clients actually make their own LDAP calls to AD so you do not even need MSMQ installed on the Win2K Server. Sorry, that was my mistake. To install this client try using the Enterprise Administrator account, the only account that has permissions to modify the AD schema is this account and this cannot be changed." ----------------------------- "I got my XP box to working after many failed attempts by changing my DNS sever to my DC I did a nslookup for my server and it failed so I changed my setting and installed MSMQ on XP Pro talking to a WIn2k server." |
