| Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: 1 This behavior occurs because the MOM Agent Manager does not recognize FQDNs for domains that are to be scanned. Cause 2: This error message appears because the Agent Manager is unable to identify the primary domain controller (PDC) for the domain while the Agent Manager is resolving the Managed Computer rules RESOLUTION: To work around this behavior, use the NetBIOS name for the domain that you want to scan. or To work around this issue, add the agents name to the following file InstallDir\OnePoint\ManualMC.txt where InstallDir is the installation directory of Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM). |
