| Event Information | CAUSE: The specified parameter is not a valid parameter for a replication Log Reader Agent profile or for a Queue Reader Agent profile, regardless of whether it is a valid parameter for a Log Reader Agent or Queue Reader job step. This error is seen when you execute sp_add_agent_parameter. RESOLUTION: Follow these steps: 1. Specify a status that is valid for the Log Reader or Queue Reader Agent profile in your sp_add_agent_parameter command. Valid parameters are listed in the topics, "Log Reader Agent Profile" and "Queue Reader Agent Profile," in Books Online. 2. If the parameter is valid for the Log Reader or Queue Reader Agent utility but not for the Log Reader or Queue Reader Agent profile, add the parameter directly to the "Run Agent" step of any Log Reader or Queue Reader Agent jobs that need the parameter set. |
