DescriptionProcess <process name> (PID=<process id>). DSAccess will use the Configuration Domain Controller (<distinguished name>) specified in the registry.
Event InformationAccording to Microsoft:
This event will be seen if Diagnostics Logging on the Configuration category of DSAccess is set to Minimum for the server. This event indicates that DSAccess will use the configuration domain controller specified by the registry key. This event means that the process of choosing the configuration domain controller automatically will not occur. However, if the server specified in registry becomes unresponsive, DSAccess will choose another configuration domain controller from the list of suitable domain controllers.
The relevant registry key is: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MsExchangeDSAccess\Instance0\ ConfigDCHostName.
User Action :
It is recommended that the configuration domain controller name be specified in the registry only if the automatically chosen domain controllers produce undesirable results. In such a case, determine what the problem is, fix it, and delete the registry value so that the configuration domain controller is chosen automatically.
