Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logegd when UDDI Web component cannot reading the configuration setting. Resolution : Ensure that the UDDI Web component can read site configuration information from the database and the Windows registry Using a Microsoft SQL Server tool, such as SQL Server Management Studio, check that the Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) server can access the UDDI database server and that the UDDI database server is available when the UDDI server starts and when the UDDI Server database information is refreshed. Check that the site configuration information does not provide the wrong UDDI database connection string. The connection string is embedded in the event message. To check the UDDI database connection string that may be causing the problem, look for it in the event message. To correct the UDDI database connection string, use the following procedure. To correct the UDDI database connection string: 1.Open the UDDI Services Management Console. To open the UDDI Services Management Console, click Start, click Control Panel, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click UDDI Services. If you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue. 2.Click your site, right-click the Web server, and then click Properties. 3. Click the Database Connection tab, click Change, and then type the name of the database server or browse to it. Verify : To verify that the UDDI service is functioning correctly: 1.Construct a save_tmodel Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) request and send the request to UDDI Services by using the Microsoft Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) Software Development Kit (SDK). 2.Check the response message. If the UDDI service is functioning correctly, the message contains detailed information about the tmodel that was saved on the server. If the UDDI service is not functioning correctly, a detailed error message appears. |
