Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: This error can occur if the name of the MSMQ resource on the cluster is more than 20 characters in length or contains spaces. RESOLUTION: Rename the MSMQ cluster resource so that the name contains less than twenty characters and does not contain spaces. Remember that a clustered MSMQ resource should have a name in the form "MSMQ$UNIQUE_NAME). To rename a cluster resource, follow these steps: 1. On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Cluster Administrator to open the Cluster Administrator. 2. In the console tree (usually the left pane), click the Resources folder. 3. In the details pane (usually the right pane), click the resource that you want to rename. 4. On the File menu, click Rename, and type a new name for the resource. 5. Restart the service and verify that the errors shown in the "Symptoms" section of this article no longer appear in the event logs. |
