Event Information | This message from newsgroup may help you: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you look at your Task Manager on NT, you would find a number of java.exe processes running on your system under the "Processes" tab. Anyway, this is an indication that the WebSphere App Server Admin service is running. Another thing is which NT are you using? Win2K or NT4? If you are using NT4, what service pack level are you at? I've been told to avoid service pack 5 by IBM when I encountered this problem after applying fixpack 4 on my WASv3.5 some time back.It would be advisable to push up the fixpack level to service pack 6a for your NT to resolve this problem. It could be that DB2 has expired... this would cause your WAS Admin service to fail since the service connects to the WAS database sitting on DB2. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------. |
