Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when the Line Printer Remote (LPR) print monitor failed to open the port named. Resolution : Restart the server or troubleshoot hardware problems This problem occurs when the Line Printer Remote (LPR) service cannot read or write registry settings. Typically, this is symptomatic of a more significant system problem. LPR may not be correctly configured until the problem is resolved. Possible resolutions include:
