Description | The Line Printer Remote (LPR) service could not submit the print job to the Line Printer Daemon (LPD) printer %1 on host %2 because the LPD service on the remote host or printer is rejecting the print job. This can occur if the LPD service is processing other print jobs. The LPR service will retry printing until the job prints successfully or the user cancels the print job. |
Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when the Line Printer Remote (LPR) service could not submit the print job to the Line Printer Daemon (LPD) printer on host. Resolution : Retry printing The print spooler will retry printing until the document prints successfully. If the document fails to print, cancel the print job and then retry printing the document. Verify : To verify that you resolved the problem, print the document again to a shared printer that uses the Line Printer Daemon (LPD) service. This tests printing using the Line Printer Remote (LPR) service on the client computer. |
