| Event Information | CAUSE: This error occurs when you drop a merge publication. This error is reported by sp_dropmergepublication if sp_dropmergearticle fails for any reason. RESOLUTION: 1. Retry dropping the publication, or try dropping the articles one by one. 2. If other errors occur at the same time as this error, troubleshoot them. 3. Run SQL Profiler against the relevant SQL Server instance to capture "Errors and Warnings" events. Sometimes this will capture errors that are otherwise not seen. Verify the intergrity of the published database. |
