Event Information | CAUSE: This error is reported when you drop a merge replication filter. It occurs if sp_dropmergefilter receives an error while deleting from sysmergesubsetfilters or while updating sysmergepublications or sysmergearticles. It can also occur if there is a failure marking all subscriptions for the specified publication for reinitialization. RESOLUTION: 1. If other errors occur at the same time as this error, troubleshoot them. 2. Run SQL Profiler against the relevant SQL Server instance to capture "Errors and Warnings" events. Sometimes this will capture errors that are otherwise not seen. Verify the intergrity of the published database. |
