Description | The DHCP Server is not servicing any clients on the network because it could not determine if it is authorized to run. This might be due to network problems or insufficient resources. |
Event Information | Cause: This event occurs due to the possibility of an unauthorized server on the network. For the directory authorization process to work properly, it is assumed and necessary that the first DHCP server introduced on to your network participate in the Active Directory service. Resolution: Check whether the server is installed as either a domain controller or a member server. For actively deploying Active Directory services, it is important not to install the first DHCP server computer as a stand-alone server. |
