Description | The system tables for merge replication could not be created successfully. |
Event Information | "Accordinf To Microsoft:" CAUSE: One or more of the merge replication tables or indexes could not be created, or one or more of the merge replication tables could not be marked as a system object. RESOLUTION: 1. Check for other error messages that may indicate the specific cause of the failure. 2. Verify that there is sufficient available space in the current database, taking into account any autogrow settings and available hard drive space. 3. If the error occurred during a service pack upgrade, check for error output from any .sql files that the service pack applied. The output of each .sql file applied by the service pack can be found in the *.out files in the SQL Server install subdirectory. If there are errors, address them and then reapply the service pack. 4. Use DBCC CHECKDB to verify the integrity of the database. 5. Run SQL Profiler against the relevant SQL Server instance to capture "Errors and Warnings" events. Sometimes this will capture errors that are otherwise not seen. |
