Description | ol_serverbd : MT: cannot allocate memory out of virtual shared memory. |
Event Information | Windows, by default, caps the shared memory usage at 2GB. This document informs how to remove that limitation to start an IDS 9.4x or 9.5x instance with more than 2GB shared memory. This is expected behaviour due to a Windows limitation. To resolve this problem and remove the memory cap, you will need to edit the boot.ini file in the root of the startup drive (usually C:\). |
