| Event Information | CAUSE:
This issue occurs because SharePoint Portal Server does not map an Installable File System (IFS) drive to the Web Storage System; this is by design. WORKAROUND: Gaining access to the workspace by using IFS can cause data loss and is not recommended. However, in certain situations (such as Web Storage System program development) you might want to work around this issue by mapping a drive to IFS to gain access to the workspace from Microsoft Windows Explorer. |
