| Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: When you install Crystal Reports version 8.0, default security permissions are changed on certain registry keys (for example, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib). When COM+ fails to access the registry keys because of insufficient permissions, the error messages described in the "Symptoms" section can occur. RESOLUTION: To workaround this problem, reset the registry key permissions that are changed when you install Crystal Reports. |
