| Event Information | According to Microsoft CAUSE: An extended BIND request includes a Fully Qualified PCID control vector. The vector must be unique across the SNA network. The Fully Qualified PCID control vector includes an 8-byte PCID value that also must be unique in the SNA network. Host Integration Server 2000 generates the 8-byte PCID value by using the local system time. If multiple Host Integration Server 2000, Host Integration Server 2000 SP1, or Host Integration Server 2004 servers send BIND requests to a remote system at the same time, the 8-byte PCID value may be duplicated. The remote system detects the duplicate PCID values and rejects the BIND requests with a BIND –RSP that includes IBM Sense Code 0x083B0001. RESOLUTION: Host Integration Server 2000 Service pack information To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000.
