| Event Information | CAUSE This error occurs when the log sequence number (LSN) designated as the starting point for the log reader scan of the transaction log is smaller than the earliest LSN in current active log. The mismatch could be due to an inconsistency in the database, or to hardware problems. RESOLUTION: Follow these steps: 1. Execute DBCC CHECKDB on the published database to verify there are no consistency errors reported. 2. Check the servers system event logs for any hardware related messages. Correct any errors that appear. 3. Reinitialize all subscriptions associated with the publication. |
